The 2017 NCIA Seed to Sale Show took place earlier this month at the Colorado Convention Center. The show prides itself as being the only show on a national level that is focused entirely upon innovative best practices, scientific advancements, and cutting edge cultivation technology, material processing, and effective sales strategies. It also happens to be Denver’s largest business to business (B2B) cannabis event. More than 2,000 of the nation’s leading cultivators, dispensary operators, extraction artists, and infused product manufacturers were in attendance to discuss the industry’s best practices, present new case studies, and share information about the science and emerging technology surrounding the whole life cycle of the cannabis plant grown, processed, and sold in a regulated market. Needless to say, it was well worth the trip! 🙂
Colorado has seen its fair share of regulatory demands and changes over the years, which has positioned the state to become one of the center focuses for other states where recreational and medical marijuana is legal. There have been many changes in certification requirements, safety concerns, testing criteria, etc, which furthers the need for informational shows like the NCIA Seed to Sale Show. In fact, our sales team had the opportunity to speak with people who traveled from regions as far away as Australia and Germany! The need for good, reliable laboratory equipment is worldwide, and we are dedicated to providing labs with the best the industry has to offer. It is very possible that Colorado may be the state which sets the standards for all other states in the USA, but only time will tell.
