Livingston, New Jersey, October 31, 2018: Ai Vacuum has just redesigned its T40 cold trap, and the demand couldn’t be higher. Our sales department reports that preorders are piling up. Why all the excitement? This chiller has a lot of desirable features, which will likely make it one of the most popular choices in the industry.
Among the most exciting is its larger reservoir. This model has 1.5 times more reservoir space and 1.6 times more trap capacity than the previous model. As a result, the new one can collect 200ml more fluid. That means less time emptying the trap, disconnecting the system, and dumping fluid, and more time taking part in the application at hand.
The latest model is a lot smaller than the older one, too. The previous one was 22” D x 19” W x 22” H. The latest model is 18” D x 13” W x 25.5” H. This saves space, while delivering the same exceptional performance you’ve come to expect. You can even use more than one cold trap and easily fit them close together. As with the former incarnation, this one has built-in swivel casters, making it easy to move and position.
Perhaps the greatest innovation is upward-facing hose barb ports. These make it easier and safer to connect the chiller to the system using vacuum tubing, with no time wasted in configuration. It’s programmable too–as opposed to the older model, making it versatile and better suited for a wide variety of applications.
Although improved, many of the most appreciated features remain the same. For instance, the chiller comes UL/CSA certified. All steel housing makes it incredibly durable. Another advantage, dry ice and liquid nitrogen aren’t needed, and no assembly is required. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go.
What’s a cold trap used for? It condenses vapors created during vacuum operations, transforming them into a liquid or a solid. This prevents them from backstreaming into your vacuum pump and solidifying there, contaminating it. Our sales team is now taking preorders for this exciting new item, which won’t be available until December 10.
